I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), two of the most researched and effective approaches in clinical psychology.
I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, perfectionism, and relationship challenges — meeting them where they are and helping them build toward where they want to be.
Based in Gahanna, Ohio, MAR serves clients throughout the Columbus area and across 40+ states through PSYPACT authorization. Whether you're local or miles away, you'll receive the same structured, compassionate care.

My approach is structured, goal-oriented, and built around teaching you concrete skills that work.
CBT helps you identify and shift the thought patterns and behaviors that are keeping you stuck. DBT goes further — it builds skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and tolerating distress without making things worse.
I tailor the approach to you. Some clients need one more than the other. Many benefit from both.

During this call, you'll have space to share what's been going on — the main challenges, how long things have been difficult, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. You don't need to have a polished answer. Just share what feels most important.

I'll walk you through my approach — what DBT and CBT look like in practice, what sessions are structured like, and what you can realistically expect from the process. No jargon, just a clear picture of what working together looks like.

We'll cover the practical details — availability, fees, insurance, and scheduling. Most importantly, we'll get a sense of whether this feels like the right fit. If it's not, I'll do my best to point you toward someone who might be a better match.
After Your First Session
Once we've decided to move forward, we'll get your first 50-minute telehealth appointment on the books. Sessions are available weekday afternoons and weekends.

Schedule directly through our Simple Practice client portal. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards.

Schedule through the Headway portal. We accept Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, and Quest Behavioral Health. Headway verifies your benefits and handles billing so you know exactly what you owe before your first session.
